Inspiration

I abandoned atheism through experiencing the presence of God. It was meditation on Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God” that led me to experience His love and the indescribable joy of the presence of God. Thanks be to God, I learned to rely on Christ, my Savior and Lord, by hearing and doing His sayings as I read them in the Scriptures. I learned to experience the Holy Spirit and follow the lead of my Companion, my Comforter and my Guide, for He is the Spirit of love and wisdom.

I learned that in order to really know the truth, I have to experience it. This is my understanding of Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Our reverence and obedience to His sayings bring us wisdom. We first have to do what He says, then we understand it. I learned that Jesus is the Word of God; He is Spirit and is Life.

The study of theology must be done with the purpose of making a difference. Unless there is a change in our lives through the study of theology, it would be a senseless exercise, because what is essential is to know God, not just know about Him.

I am experiencing the abundant life that Jesus came to give us: no matter what my circumstances are, I experience His love, His joy and His peace, for I rely on Jesus.

Knowing that this life is available to all of us who believe in Him and seeing so many frustrated believers, I am compelled to dedicate my life to sharing my testimony and my experience with those who believe but have not yet experienced the wonderful life that is in Christ Jesus. By His death and resurrection, His life was given for, and to, all believers. To obtain this precious gift, however, we must first be willing, and learn how, to receive His life. The importance of being willing to receive from The Lord is illustrated in John 13:8, when Peter refused to allow Jesus to wash his feet. “Jesus answered, ‘Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.'”

This is why my ministry is about Receiving His Life.
